What makes it stand out for creators:

Where it falls short: Email templates are limited (~20 designs, text-heavy by design). No deep ecommerce integrations. Reporting is functional but not deep.

2. Beehiiv - Best for Newsletter Monetization
If your primary goal is building a newsletter as a business - with ads, paid subscriptions, and paid growth - Beehiiv is purpose-built for that. While Kit helps creators sell products through email, Beehiiv helps newsletter publishers monetize the newsletter itself.
What makes it stand out for creators:

3. MailerLite - Best Value for Budget-Conscious Creators
If Kit’s paid plans are too expensive and Beehiiv’s automation is too basic, MailerLite sits in the sweet spot. It’s the cheapest full-featured email marketing platform that still handles automations, landing pages, and a drag-and-drop editor well.

4. GetResponse - Best for Creators Who Sell Courses
If you’re a creator who sells online courses or hosts webinars, GetResponse bundles everything you need in one subscription. Most course creators pay separately for an email platform, a webinar tool, and a course hosting platform. GetResponse combines all three.
